AKA and Delta are two different things. AKA follows the principles of service and culture, while Delta follows the principle that intelligence is the torch that enables us to become wise.
The commitment to excellence inspires our members to develop self-discipline, responsibility and personal integrity as they learn to make a difference in the world around them. Our guiding principles are our standards of conduct: integrity, scholarship, leadership, scholarship, cooperation and service.
We seek to build unity among the women of AKA Sorority Incorporated by providing opportunities for interaction and development through educational workshops, social events and community service projects.
As we grow together we are developing ourselves as individual leaders dedicated to improving our communities through acts of kindness and love for others.

What Is AKA?
AKA was the first historically African-American Greek-letter sorority in the United States and many other countries. Alpha Kappa Alpha was founded in 1905 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. by a group of 16 women.
AKA, since its founding, has contributed to the betterment of the socio-economic conditions of the community. The members have also improved their own education by independently working on various projects and developing programs and associations. X worked with community service initiatives and progressive programs in the areas of education, health, and business.
Alpha Kappa Alpha is one of the largest Greek-letter organizations in the United States and other countries. It consists of women with different degrees from different colleges and universities in the United States and other countries.
AKA Sorority, Inc. is a service-oriented organization committed to enhancing the lives of women and men through our unique service programs. We provide a supportive environment where sisters can build lifelong friendships, make lifelong memories, explore their interests and discover new ideas.
What Is Delta?
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated is an organization that is dedicated to uplifting humanity by helping others become better people while encouraging them to pursue their goals in life with diligence and integrity.
How Are They Related?
Alpha Kappa Alpha was founded in order to provide support for African American women in order to support them in their college education in January 1908.
Delta is a Greek-letter sorority that was created specifically to help African American women get the education that they needed. Delta Sigma Theta is a sorority that was founded at Howard University in January 1913.
It was founded to help African American women pursue their educational goals.
Aka vs Delta
AKA’s goal is focused on helping the underprivileged in the community. African-American women, who had little power, were given the opportunity to succeed, because they were not given many opportunities because they were in the minority group during the 20th century.

Delta’s goal is to promote academic success among women students and to provide necessary help to other African American women. Delta Sigma Theta was involved in the March for Women’s Suffrage that occurred in Washington, D.C., on March 8, 1913.
