The area and the perimeter are two very important concepts.
Sometimes people confuse the terms ‘Area’ with ‘Perimeter’.

The perimeter that we are using is for determining what size photo frames and length of lawn for which we should put a fence. To find the perimeters of small objects, you must use a string or thread to tie around the object whose perimeter you want to find.
